Svadhyaya is practiced as a self-reflection process in order to draw your mind inwards. This self-study, in terms of Yoga, isn't merely a contemplation of your motives and behaviours, but also of the circumstances and environment you are in. It is basically a practice of assessing your life in terms of its totality, ultimately leading you to a more fulfilling self.

I have been training with Devyani since January 2021. She has been a real blessing for my physical, mental, and emotional health. I have been doing virtual classes with her and it is the same as doing an in-person class since it's been so effective. She always pushes me to be a better version of myself after every class. I was always apprehensive to try yoga until I started practicing with Devyani. Thanks to her personalized approach, she has shown me my body is capable of so much more than I thought it was and that yoga is for everyone! I never believed in the power of yoga and was pressured into trying Svadhyaya by my sister! Hand on heart, I can now say I'm so grateful I started my yoga practice. Over the last year, yoga has brought me peace when my mind and body were at capacity, I have seen my body transform and poses I used to never believe I was capable of performing, I am now holding for 3-4 minutes. Furthermore, I have severe tendinitis in my right arm and Devyani has helped strengthen my muscles and get my arm to a place where I no longer require physiotherapy to manage my pain.
I started my prenatal journey with Devyani in my 20th week and I can't recommend her enough. The pelvic floor breathing exercises and TVA taught by her got me through my pregnancy! Not only did she explain engaging my TVA step by step with so much patience but also took care of whatever aches and pains I had during my pregnancy. She was my online healer/doula, available 24x7 if I had any problem pregnancy and non-pregnancy related. ❤️🤗 I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for a smooth delivery - the midwives were shaken that I pushed out my 3.6kg baby with almost no tear by engaging my TVA. Also need to add that my recovery has been so much easier and quicker! 🥰🤗

Devyani is a cheerful, warm, and intuitive soul and that translates wonderfully into her yoga teaching. Although classes with her have been entirely virtual so far, her online presence is strong, supportive, and with just the right amount of push. Each class is different and leaves me feeling exhilarated - a great balance of pranayama and asana practice. Her teaching goes beyond yoga into nutrition as well and I was grateful to have her guide me through a bout of COVID, both during and through my recovery. Keep up the great work!

The long lockdown had made both of us ( Rajiv & Bina Jain) feel lethargic and unhealthy and we knew that we needed to do something drastic to get our minds and bodies back to a healthy state. At this stage, we were fortunate to be introduced to Devyani (Svadhyaya) for Yoga. Devyani's passion and enthusiasm to teach, prepare for each class, gr8 instruction of movements, ability to connect with people, her energy & personality have made our Yoga classes a wonderful experience and we are already feeling much better in both body and spirit! She goes out of her way to educate us on the benefits of each asana & this makes it easy to get inspired & implement techniques when on our own. An initial concern for us was that we are based in Dubai while Devyani is in Mumbai. However, after initial adjustments and fine-tuning in our first session, Zoom calls have been fantastic. We feel that Devyani is present physically! She can click many frames of our actions to improve our asanas to show what we are not doing correctly. Overall, we feel transformed by Devyani's passion, personal care, and brilliance as a yoga instructor. We are fortunate she has been able to fit us into her busy schedule!
